What about getting shower bars in the shower, in case of unexpected dizziness, and the same at the toilet? They can really help. Even if you don't need them hardly ever, they only need to help you once to make them worthwhile.
I knew that we should get them, and found ones that were sturdy, a comfortable diameter to hold, and not bad looking. They look like brass, rather than being silver, and have indentation lines down their length. The will match my towel bars. But, you can get them silver if you prefer it. I just happened to run into these a few years ago, and liked them. They will match my bathroom.
We originally thought of Dh's back, which can lock up and he can't stand. Then, we thought about his bp, and heart. I know that I can suffer sudden drops in bp, and have had dizziness and vertigo before, etc. so felt like there was no reason not to put safety first. And, these are so attractive. Anyway, just a thought.
