When I first went gf, the only pastas at my store were not like mine now. They were gritty and tasted like cornmeal.
Both of the ones that I mentioned are made from rice. While they aren't the texture of old fashioned wheat pastas, they work great with sauce, in one-skillet dishes, etc.
Oh, that's right. I'd forgotten that Dh doesn't eat other pasta dishes.
