I do know that I feel it even more than I used to because of my low thyroid. Not that anyone needs an extra reason to feel cold in these temperatures!

I wonder if it's H5N1 that she's referring to? That's what was/is in the commercial chicken population, and has been found in some wild birds, as well.
We were going to have something else, but before I knew it, I had cranberries in my freezer, sweet potatoes, broth in the freezer, and, celery and onions for stuffing. It looked like a start to Thanksgiving to me...

I can't put a chicken in my weird little oven, yeslet a turkey, but my old bbq might hold out long enough to make a roasted chicken. We'll see. Or else we could make it in pieces or spatchcock it.
This means that, unlike Ds, who is making things that ddil wants, I would only need a chicken, and some fresh vegetables.
