It's a sunny, beautiful day today in my neck of the woods. It was only in the 50's until 2, but now it's 88. It will probably be there for about 40 more minutes until the sun shifts, and the temperature plummets. It will be around freezing tonight, so I have my windows open, letting in some of the warmth.

Ds and Thyri came by to borrow some carrots. He had 2 lbs., but wasn't thrilled at their flavor for his food, so when they came by, they fed theirs to the chickens, who enjoyed them. Thyri clapped when they took their offerings.

Krypto got some baked sweet potato peels, which are almost his favorite thing. I like him to have them because they are full of nutrients. Now, he's napping; snoring lightly on the big chair.

The cats are enjoying the sunshine. Later, they will get a Thanksgiving treat of chicken.

The 2 hummingbirds that are still here have been drinking their nectar as if they haven't eaten in the month. I just saw one fly to the west side of the feeder, as a matter of fact.
