They left early yesterday morning for Houston. They never got there as there were tornado warnings, thunderstorm warnings, etc. They were diverted to San Antonio.... they live in SA but they wouldn't let anyone off the Cancun Houston plane. So they had too fly back to Houston once the alerts were gone. Boys eldest daughter was to pick them up in Houston as she lives outside H. Then she would drive them back to their home in SA picking up Boys DS. Instead DD was told to jsut drive to Boy & DDIL's house to pick up her brother.

Boy & DDIL ended up having to fly to Austin from Houston then to SA...that meant buying a ticket to A and another to SA. Then get picked up by Boys DD. Luckily their luggage went with them from on every lap. Which was a bit of good luck!

I don't know if you recall that Boys DS made a total wreck of their home when he was living with them. Apparently - even taking ccare of 6 dogs, he managed to keep the house clean and tidy. Whew! Good thing as DDIL would have had a fit if he hadn't.

They managed to get some sleep and this morning they are our driving arund to pick up boxes for the Phillipines.

But they had a great time in Cancun. No specifics yet, but I will be interested in hearing if they enjoyed the area. I know they had rain down there almost as much as here. But they did get some sunshine. Lucky them.

Here it has rained every day. More a periodic steady rain fall that fell night and day. I am so sick of MUD!!!! inside. Charlie and I both trecked it inside. 8-(

At least this has inspired me to vacuum "every" room. I tried to use a boom first to sweep out the clmps of mud then vacuum. Thing is Soli has been dropping his fur everywhere. ANd I mean everywhere. I have found his thick black fur clumps in every room. ARRRGH!!!

Otherwise we are all ok. Charlie and I have managed to get out side between any serious rain fall. Kitty is hiding and won't come out for any petting. Chance has decided that he wants me to rub and pet his head, beck, eyes and ears finally. Not sure why he was anti petting all summer long.

I guess we are all getting back to normal. Finally! 8-)

They finally arrived HOME at 12:30am last night.
