devices or handwork, I find it difficult to have a throw on me. We actually bought a small heater that sits in front of our chairs. I turn that on when I get cold, and it allows me to do my work and keeps me warm. It is very small, so takes up very little room, but puts out a lot of heat. When we were heating with wood, I never got cold, but all of that wooding was getting to be too much for dh (not his idea, but mine), so we have wood for emergencies now.
