We had a moderate week as far as weather goes. It got a bit warmer, but we still needed our jackets. We had rain overnight, and it was supposed to be over early this morning. That was not the case as it has been misty and damp most of the day.
The guy who is going to fix our fence from the tree falling on it came out and gave us another estimate more to what dh wanted. I really don't care. I just want the fence fixed.
Older dd and younger dgd came over on Good Friday, and we went shopping. It was nice to see people out and about. There were nice crowds, but it wasn't too bad. We strayed away from the two busiest streets and had lunch where there was a much smaller crowd. We stopped in at the Meijer store (not sure if you have them), and I was able to get some nice treats for Evie and some things I needed for gifting. I also found one of those vintage candle holders that everyone used to use. I just couldn't pass that up. We had a good day, and younger dgd got a lot of things that she wanted for herself and for gifts. Older dgd had to work on papers for her classes at college, so she had to stay home.
All in all, we had a good weekend. Kentucky football beat the Louisville, and that has been a big rivalry for years. In addition, Purdue beat both Gonzaga and Duke in basketball. That was a good weekend for us.
