First, I got my food prepped, and cooked or frozen, depending what it was. Hooray!
And, the new food processor, while slightly smaller than my old one, is amazing. It does a great job with meat, and is quieter than either that I've had before.
Then, Ds agreed to come and bring up the wood to edge my kitchen garden, and the garlic bed up here.
My bed only needs wood on one side, where it's next to a slope, and we need to put wood around all 4 sides of the garlic bed, because it's partly above ground, and we want the soil kept where it is.
This wood was down at the old house. It's from when we built our original deck. It's redwood, and each piece is 2" thick, 6" wide, and 21' long. So, there will be some cutting involved.
We also grabbed a 20' long 4 x 4, and 2 x 4 from down there. Plus the 4 T-posts that we need.
So, that was a good day's work.
Then, we got some odds and ends from one of our storage containers that we needed now, and Ds got some wood to burn, from our stack.
But, that's not all. We still could not put up my camera all this time, because the CAT 5 tool, I think it's called, has been MIA. I ordered a new one on Black Friday at Amazon, and got $5. off of it, which was a little more than 25%. It will arrive on Wednesday.
In the meantime, Ds found the tool. *sigh* You know Murphy? Well, there's another rule in life. If you want to find something that you've been searching high and low for, just buy another like it. It will show up quickly. Sheesh!
But, on the good side of that coin, the road camera is now back up...hooray!! I've got it back up in the house, and adjusted correctly. And, oddly, even though Sunday's aren't the busiest day around here, I haven't seen one vehicle go by since it's been back up. It's like we have the area to ourselves...which is okay by us! I'm sure it will be busy this morning/today!
There's more, but those are the main things.
I hope that you had a good Sunday, as well! Have a wonderful day!
