I removed the wiring and put it on my bed. The thing is the floors of my home are open to the weather. It didn't take me long to put the felt blanket on top of my bottom sheet. I layer quilts and have one of those fur like throw blankets that I put atop everything else. I have a smaller one that Charlie wraps himself in.

My MS causes my right side to feel cold almost year round. So I will be buying myself another felt blanket. I love being warm.

My bedroom has a wall heater and a floor heater. The library has a wall heater and a small desk top heater. Being a small room and at the end of the house with only one window... it can get nicely warm. It also adds its heat to the hallway that leads to the front room where the largest floor heater is. Most of the time they are all set on low unless its windy. That open space below the floors which don't have rugs canget pretty cold.

Overall we are all warm most of the time.
