Answer: Legendary country singer Dolly Parton has been awarded a $100 million Courage and Civility award by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. The money is to be directed toward charities that the Dolly Parton sees fit. Parton tweeted that she would "do my best to do good things with this money." The 76-year-old music icon has long been known as a philanthropist. In 2020, Parton donated $1 million to Vanderbilt University's Medical Center to help develop the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
