...in the movie 'Scrooged', when the ghost took Bill Murray to his brother's house to see Christmas Day there without him, they were playing trivia, and the question of the name of the Minnow came up. His brother, I believe, got it wrong, so later on, on his television program, he said to the camera, to his brother, that the name of the boat was the S.S. Minnow. Which, pretty much freaked the brother and other guests out because, how could he know about their game?

It made me wonder, at the time, if people too young to remember the show, would know about the Minnow because of the popular movie reference?

Maybe if we'd been younger when the chipmunks came out, we would have liked them better. Not sure.
