That's so silly about the taxes. They either need to do what's been done before, or set precedent if it's never been done. Argh!
It could just be trying to heal, but your injury sounds like your spine was jammed. In that case, you may need someone who specializes in spinal injuries. It sounds terrible, whatever the case is.
Has anyone suggested a neck brace temporarily? For a while, I used one. I even slept in it. I opted for the softer type. Some of them just hold your neck in place, to relieve that constant pain when you do *anything*, and some kind of separate the disks.
Sometimes they can give you one, other times the best ones come from pharmacies, and insurance will pay for it. But, even if not, sometimes it's the only way to get extra relief, which is priceless.
I had a Dr. once tell me that it just gives you a weak neck. I know a rude word in Japanese for people like him. I never went to him again, btw.
I am praying for your injuries to let up soon, and start giving you relief.
That sounds like my taxes. We both need a lottery just for taxes. I've been fine for over 30 years, but am not fine with these bills currently. Good luck to us both.
Maybe Charlie has arthritis, too? Am thinking of him, and hoping that the two of you will both do better soon, though Charlie will probably need supplements, and once the vet sees him next, perhaps a regular prescription of some type, depending what he thinks the problem is.
