My drs office has a new transportation company. SO far it has been a disaster trying to connect. I have an appointment but no home pickup time. In fact the company says they have no driver for my ride. WHAT???? So I am on the phone with or was with the trans company & the Drs office person.
I was told to hang up and when the trans compny person answered and talked to the drs office I would be reconnected to find out what time.

Well, still no driver for my trip. So it may be an online appointment. WHAT???

I have medications that need to be ordered through my Insureance, Plus a referral to a Arthritis Person in San Antonio? And other info I really need.

I will have to let Charlie out at 10:30am to do his business.... feed him befor the ride comes - if it comes. And be ready for an on line appointment if there is not driver to take me to the Drs office.

Tis is 4pm
I am home after a great appointment with DrK but was late to my appointment because - The driver was NEVER assigned to pick me up so they got a sub and scheduled them to pick me up at 11:09am no later then 11:29am.

I was NOT picked up till 1200pm - so late to my appointment. NOT the Offices fault, instead they called for another driver from Lyft to pick me up - had no clue where I lived and I had to provide directions to Drs ofc.

I finally got in to see DR K. She and her staff did a complete checkup. So She did apply for my paperwork - and the Hosp, instead of billing me total cost oerederedf ER, it was covered by my Insurance. And Dr K is gettng my ER paperwork including both Cat scans.... She consulted and I amnot to get referral for a Rhumatoid Authrists Dr. SPELLING IS BAD. As I have regular Arthrist.

She really quizzed me and checked out everything and has reordered my new drugs. Oh, funny things -- She asked if I was taking the pain relief 4 times a day. What???? For I had been taking every 4 hours. She checked and I wasn't doing myself anty harm, Plus she has approved me to take one pain tablet every 4 hours for relief. After we talked some more she suggested I should try a heating pad. And not cold sticky pads. My neighbor alernates between both - I like warmth more so will order a hot pad tomorrow. I get a free one from my Insureance company.

Today has been the best day yet with much less pain. Though I have had bad moments then get better.

I won't rush into trying anything new right away.

I think I mentioned that the office manager drove me home as the trans company had me on hold for almost two hours before canceling my ride.

So I am warm and home and Charlie is bizzerk. I called my insurance company and complained about the trans company. I called the office back and told them what I had done. They all thanked me as they kept apologizing to me.

I just had a large bowl of Tomato soup. YUMMMMY!
