But the arrow shaped leaves of the China Berry tree, were the first to fall to the ground starting at the crown of the tree. A smaller one had grown up between my fence and J&W's. The bright yellow leaves on a foggy morning were beautiful slowly floating to the ground on the misty white air.

But the sun came out and the fog disappaited when we were out front by the gate. Oh how glorious the Flag was as it began to wave back & forth in the air. The sun was out and the air warmed and everything glowed.

The clouds were huge with areas of brilliant blue sky in a patchwork pattern. I could see the RedBud tree as I looked over the roof of my house. The leaves look like large open handed palms. Their color was an even brighter golden yellow then the leaves of teh Chinna Berry tree.

As I walked towards the back yard I realized the China Berry tree branches were full of light sand colored berrys in groups of a dozen scattered throughout the branches.

When we got to the back door, the air was very warm. I almost wanted to sit out front on the porch. But lunch time called and Charlie was giving me that hungry feed me look. What was ok for I was also hungry.

He will get fed first after which I will take a shower then eat. It's been long week and a few days since I could raise my arms above my head or bend over to touch my feet. Oh, how glorious it will be to feel clean again.

Simple pleasures, yes???
