I'm glad that you've been getting some rain, as well. Today was our 'big day' and sure enough we got 2 1/2". Other days will be giving us 1/10" - 1/2", they say.
That's great! Did your nativity ever arrive?
That's the only downside, when we teach them to open presents, lol!
I got one more thing for Thyri, but I have an excuse, lol! It's like a blanket, and one corner is a hood, like a baby towel. It's spotted all over, there are two 'pockets' for your hands to go in, and there's a face on the hood part that goes on your head. It's a cat blanket, and the hood part has cat ears standing up, and a cat face on it. Oh, and the pockets give you paws...there are pet prints that make your hands look like paws.
My T.V.'s default, I don't know why, is QVC. If anything happens to the T.V., QVC comes on. Accident? Doubtful! Anyway, I was watching a taped show, and suddenly QVC came on, with these blankets.
Thyri sits in a rocking chair every night before bed. I thought that, since she loves cats, this would be the perfect thing to wear around her in her rocking chair. Also, now and until she's quite a bit older, it can be a play costume.
I was still going to turn it off, but it was a special event where the shipping was free, and it was on payments...$4. a month...so there you go, she will get the 'spotted kitty' blanket with her books. 
Oh, no, I'm so sorry, and will pray for her to recover completely. And, for Kario, Andrew, and all of her family. You too, of course. I'm sure that you are worried sick.
