Afterwards, when they were closed, I got the idea to take plain brown store bags and stamp them myself, or draw pictures, etc. and use those as wrapping.
I have wrapped gifts in cloth a time or two...that's pretty cool.
And, a couple of times, when desperate because I didn't have enough, I would wrap a Christmas gift in birthday paper, putting the design on the inside, where you couldn't see it, and then draw on the outside, which was now white, put stickers on it, or something like that. Mind you, back then, I wrapped gifts to parents, even grandparents, aunts, sister, niece and nephew, etc. etc. Not like now, with most of them either gone, or not involved.
Whatever works, lol! But, I do try to keep enough paper these days.
You are very creative. I'm sure that Dd loves her interestingly wrapped gifts. :-)
