As the Sun, still below the Earth's curverture,
Rimed the low lying clouds with a thin strip of bloody red light.

Just above the shadowy hills the clouds barely
Moved as the Sun slowly rose almost to it's Southern most arc brightening the devilish edging.

With only five days remaining till the Longest Night of this Winter's Solstice on December 21st, at 3:47 PM Wednesday.

I stared at the red rimed clouds. Not seeing
Beauty, nor Ugliness, but more a sense of
Slow moving time.

It seemed to take forever for the sun to rise
Far enough into the sky to rid itself of the
Red outlines on the grayish clouds.

I had thought to take a photo of ths unique sky. But thought better of it. Somethings are best as Singular events.

I will not forget this mornings start. I may forget the date, but not the Dark Red edging on the clouds.
