I had to ask my neighbor if she could runme into one of the small local towns. It's only 17 miles away from my home and took 28 minutes to get there. Since A and I live next door it was a quick trip.

We stopped at Burger King and I ordered 3 French Toast sticks and coffee. A got a burger & coffee. The food was satisfying.

We parked by the CVS and watched a dog trot towards us from about a half mile away. It then circled the CVS store - a single bulding - then it trotted on. We both thought this dog was doing it's daily route.

Anyway the store finally opened and I wandered a bit inside looking for a heating pad for my neck & shoulders. More on that later. I let a man go ahead of me. He was in jeans & a cowboy hat. Most men are here. 8-)

Anyway I had my RX from the ER sent to CVS. My neighbors dropped it off and then picked up medicated patches a couple days later.

I really didn't want to have my neighbor doing this for me so I had called the Drug Store and asked if they had a program that allowed mailing of prescriptions,etc. They said yes, but I had to come into the store and purchase something to initiate my membership.

So I paid for my RX and then had some help picking out a heating pad that could address my neck & shoulders. It was $50. But because I joined their membership it only cost me $34. Plus I get $10 ot $15 added to my membership every month to purchase free items. So I have my little red cards, and will go on line later to read the membership guide.

I am with Humanna but am very disappointed with their new Pharmacy. It takes weeks to have my Rx's, Vitimins, etc delivered.

My Dr will always use that pharmacy when subscribing new meds. Which she recently did. My Pain med for my neck took 3 weeks. I compared my C & D vitimin prices with Amazon and my Ins pharmacy and went with Amazon. Much quicker delivery and more quantity.

I have to check with CVS to see the quantity available there. Everything can be ordered on-line and mailed to me. Pickup is more or less same day.

Anyway on Thursday, I had asked my neighbor if she could take me to the Drug store on Sat.

She was pretty wishy-washy about answering and said: "uh, I dont know - as her partner J was sick."

So I said "Ok, no problem I will arrange something else." Meaning A on Saturday.

On Friday, J had gone to the Drug store which I had not expected her to do. As I had to be there in order to set up the new Membership. Boy did I get yelled at. Nasty texts and voicemail messages.
W had not told me that she would have J do this.

Boy was I dumb founded. So I am waiting to see what type of reaction they have when I see them next.

A & I did discuss them briefly and I will try and let it go. The thing is W always has to have the last word. She is very bossy which I find very annoying. It seems she doesn't listen to me but makes her own mind up and decideds thats how things should be done then walks away.

She even did that with the Drs & Nurses in the ER the last two times she showed up there. I didn't ask her to come with she just got in her car and followed the ambulance. What a mess.

Anyway, today I managed to get everything done that needed to be done at the Pharmacy. The odd thing is that Humanna sent me a letter asking if I wanted to merge all my meds on their site. No I don't. Now how they discovered I had RX's at HEB and at CVS was a shock.

Humana's new Pharmacy sent me the new OTC catalog which has some items I considered ordering at low costs prices. But the prices of objects I looked at today have better pricing.

I also have problems with Humana's transportation to and from Doctor's offices. I posted about the last 3 trips and what disasters they were. SO won't repeat myself.

Well, I think this is more then enough to share. What a mess!!!! 8-( But loved CVS. LOL!
