I have just begun a new book. I'm literally a few pages into it. It's called: Woof, A Bowser & Birdie Novel.
From what I can gather so far, a dog is in a pound or pet shop, and a girl and her grandmother come in to look at him. The girl seems to like him, but the grandmother thinks that he'll eat them out of house and home.
I'm going to guess that they take him home, but I don't know yet.
