Something's wrong with the big generator alright.

Any prayers for Ds to be able to look at it today and fix it would be most appreciated.

The batteries ran for an unprecedented 10 hrs., with the generator off, then we turned it on to recharge them. But, it made some awful noises and wouldn't stay on, plus there was some problem with the oil, Dh said.

We finally had to disconnect the inverter, which disconnects my batteries. We were then able to turn on the small generator. I needed dinner as it was getting terribly late. While I can't use the oven or electric pan with it, I can run a small burner, so did, and finally ate. Whew!

So, here we sit, no batteries, no big generator. I'm about to send a message to Ds that he should get when he gets up this morning.

And, things were going so well, too... Maybe we can get a Christmas miracle or two happening around here.

Oh, and Ds dropped off 3 trees last night after dark. They had been pushed over when someone did roadwork. I'm to look at them this morning, once it's light later on, and see if I can give what he's calling 'Charlie Brown Trees' a home for Christmas, lol! I think that we should give him boughs from one to make decorations like wreaths with, and same here, but we'll see!
