That's sure not a good situation!!! Have you checked into solar? I don't know if you qualify by age, but I've heard there are programs for seniors. DH doesn't believe in solar, but Kara and Randy switched to it and are happy. I hope there is some feasible and inexpensive fix for you all. What a time of year for this to happen!! How large a generator do you all use? What kind of batteries? I was thinking maybe there would be some way to help.
