His truck runs on diesel, so even when gas drops in price, he's paying in the neighborhood of $6.something a gallon to go on jobs. $100. doesn't 1/2 fill his truck at this price, when that used to be a full tank.
I hadn't thought about propane, either, as I don't use it, but he pays $450. per 3 months-ish of fuel for his stove and hot water heater alone.
It goes on. Oh yes, and they were sick for a month, so his paycheck was smaller than he expected it to be. You know the drill...
Luckily, he needs 2 breakers for their bedrooms. The rain somehow shorted his out or something. I say luckily, because ours and his are the same, and mine aren't all installed yet, so he will borrow 2 of ours. *Then* all he'll need to do is get the piece of drywall, and whatever's needed to install it. Apparently, with his type of wall it can be a fire hazard to heat it up.
They don't feel that it's defective...
