We have to make it to end of Mar(?) before safe from Freezing. The last freeze was in Jan, the one before was in Feb, the one before that was in Mar.
It's possible that Dec could bring earlier freeze.

Plus folks living by the lake are without water in their wells. People are having to fill external tanks. My well and my neighbors wells have plenty of well water. But none of us can drink it or use for cooking. So we have to buy bottled water. Well water is free but for electricity that runs our wells.

I now have to buy 24 packs of water from Kroger as my DS & his wife won''t be back from Phillipines till Jan 12th I hope. There were problems with people flying out over Xmas & New Years.

If I could afford water delivery I'd pay for it. But way expensive as this area is an hour from SA.. I'm managing with h2o from Kroger but trying to keep up with my needs is tricky.
