They are saying the rain that we've been having is finally starting to raise the water a little in a local lake. I don't know if that means that it will keep the extra water, though. It could just be temporary. I hope not.
Hopefully, you will get rain there, too, and it will help with your lake.
They have been finding things in lakes that are unexpected from California to Nevada, because the water has receded to record lows. It's scary to be able to walk out in lakes with dry ground underfoot, where water should be. Ds and ddil did that year before last at one of our local lakes. I believe that you said that it was the same there. :-(
