I also check on you - boy things are bad I know. Trees are falling all over the state. I saw about the boy who was ripped from his mother's hands. Scary and terriberly sad but also people in mass looking for his body.

I've been in a few storms where I couldn't hear, etc. We had tornados on both sides of our trailer in MN at the same time - terrifying.

Poor puppy - Charlie seems to ignore any weather including thunder RIGHT ON TOP OF US! I haven't heard any like that since losing BOR. Texas WHEW! Weather is brutal most of the time. Now it is like we have no weather.

I posted about flooding in Westchester before LAX was enlarged in to LAX. That was in the late 60's as I was in collage, had a car, etc. But lived at my folks then moved out - what a relief!

We haven't had a deluge running down our hill for over 2 years now. Our driveway is lower then road, I've mentioned before.... so deluge runs into my driveway then into back yard. Then into back yard neighbors and next door neighbors then into woods by mailboxes.

I don't take Charlie out if thunder, etc. But if raininig hard but on leash and he is quick, to do his business. Thankfully.

I figure this summer will be horrid - my property is turning in to a desert. All is dry. Usually unless snowing or ice, my yard is green year round... though mostly grasses, weeds, etc. Trees don't shed till jan/feb. and leaf out immediately, or they used to. We are 4 hrs from gulf of mexico so we are heating up. Some cold days, maybe a few of freezing then back to 70s and possible 80s, then starts over again. Feb is when he had the 2021 freeze - bad people died with no heat as power out in SA. Boy had no heat and lost all frozen food in fridge and freezer as no power for a week. BAD BAD! But we areon seperate power company so had 4 hrs power loss for two days then an hour so often for a few days. Awful. Thank goodness we had sporatic power so I heated up the rice socks so keep Chance warm. Cats huddled together in library - warmest room when power went off. Charlie and I had two socks and kept each other warm. BIZARRE!

Ok day has appeared... cloudy so not sunny. Its in low 30's had to have taps running Will do same tomorrow am.
