We had another of our crazy weather weeks. The week started out on a rather warm note. Storms came through on Thursday and really cooled things down. On Wednesday, it was 60 for the high, and there was snow on the ground (not the roads) and only got into the 30's. I am not sure why the weather reports always mention what should be the normal highs and lows for this time of year. We never seem to be normal. Our cars were covered with heavy frost this morning. Tomorrow will be warmer with no frost. Just can't keep up.
Our week was pretty normal. Older dgd was here again, and we got to have lunch with her. We picked younger dgd up from school on Wednesday and went for a snack with her. It is good to see the dgds as much as possible now. Older dgd is a sophomore in college and really involved there. Younger dgd has scheduled fill with band and school activities. It is great to see them moving on, but we just don't see them as much as we would like.
We only ad one appointment this week, so that was nice. I am on eye meds for glaucoma, so the doctor wants to see me twice a year. We really like him, so it is not a bad visit. The glaucoma is being controlled by meds and is not causing any problems. Our doctor said that modern medicine has pretty much kept people from going blind nowadays.
Our prices aren't nearly as bad as yours, but prices here have gone up.
