Apparently Cheese cake is ok for Diabetics to eat. YEAH! Graham cracker crust is ok also as it is carbs and a low count at that.
I am really working hard on keeping track of what I eat. Also I am taking my BP and BS 3 or 4 times a day. And even logging my Pain Pill and when I use the Lidocaine Patch at 5%. With the patch, depending on the pain I either cut the patch in half or thirds.
But I took my pain pill before playing Mexican Train Dominos Wed.... That didn't work well. I had to walk home.... and got dizzy, but worst of all blabby during the games. So no more pill before
game.
Plus the Patch is so sticky. It works the edges into my hair along the back of my neck. With my skinny hair that gets stuck to the patch and I can feel my hair get pulled if I twist my neck, etc.
So it is a big ouch when I pull my hair loose.
Anyway. I am learning how to deal with all this "STUFF."
But eating is going well. SOmetimes 5 meals not 6.
I was able to buy coffee bags from Folger. So no more pots of coffee. I am also drinking more tea. coffee is for AM only. Maybe once in a while a cup of "C" with dinner. 8-)
Dinner was two veggie egg rolls and some cheese cake. Lunch was Beef top ramen. Breakfast was Potato bread toasted with PNB & 2 precooked and recooked slices of bacon. The re-cook gets rid of more grease. A Diabetic hint. Also had a Cinnamon Roll no icing but lots of Cinnamon.
Say I bought a large jar of Ground Flax seed. I am putting it on salads, soups, etc. Any guidelines you could share?
Well, DD will be calling soon. Kids got home this morning. Everyone is ok!
Chat later. Ta Ta 8-)
