So whats the title? My Dad and I loved books like that - it's horror movies/tv shows I can't watch. Stuff that gross me out YUCK!!!! Reading I never have a problem.

I posted about reading the War of The Worlds and have seen the movie. On TV when it was first produced not in a theatre.

Alien is BAD!!!! But if War of the Worlds was redone... I bet it would be horrific and gross. Reading is one thing, listening on the radio or on line no big deal - but the WoftheWs monsters are YUCKY! So thanks but no thanks on visuals.

I have a full double packed shelf of horror books in the library. I've read them all. No problems. But watching on TV.... may one or two out of all of them I could stand. The rest. not a chance.

I am towards the end of book 50 of In Death. I have to admit that there are spots where I cringe.
My moral sensabilites find only a few situations in JD's books that are absolutely appalling.

I love fantasy & Magic. World history has been full of both. Real or not people believed and some still do. That's all I will say about it.
