First Boy will be here Sunday and will measure the well area so he can build a shed for it. Luckily the new weell is half as tall as the old one was.
He will also need to make it so if there is a problem the shed can be easily moved by tilting it over. Plus he needs to move the electrical box into the shed.
Also he will be removing all the wood supposedly for fixing the porch behind the trailer which I want put into its permanent spot. It's not near as big as it could have been - the trailer I mean. But moving the wood will be a good thing as I will need to mow sooner rather then later, unless we get slammed by an ice storm. Big concern. The early morning temps have been at 30, 31, etc. Not good.
I have some hot water in the kitchen but I hardly use it except to fill my big alumine bowl to rinse stuff in. ARRGH!
But good news, sorta, is I called the and they still havent seperated the property between me and Boy. The Woman in change or the other woman at the tax bureau will call me back - I stressed I need to make payments if the amount I owe is large. Though it is over 1200$ and possibly more, If I get the Homestead reduction - it will apply every year - but this year the credit they will give me along with the new homestead rate will apply form 2019. That is three years after I moved here. Boy will pay his half without a homestead deduction, until they sell their home - now this year - it changes frequently - then his VA homestead can apply to his half here. He is now on Medicare & Medicade. That will come with him.
But there is a leak some where. The washer is trashed. I want all the junk in my back yard taken away. Fencing, tin from the old roof, AC's, 2 Washers, etc, etc. HE wants to keep the old well tank and make a burn barrel out of it.
Sorry, Sorry, I am so frustrated! Am venting - luckily now that I am on meds, my BP & BS are really good and low.
There are so many problems looking me in the face and sticking their tongues out at me, that I try just walking them off. Charlie has never had so many walks and played ball so often. I check the mailbox 2 or 3 times a day. It comes around 2 to 3pm... but I walk at 7am, 10 am and when the mail has come then after I've already picked it up, again at 4 or 5pm.
Did I say I haven't gotten the well pipes bill yet, or the last ER bill. I have to buy bottled water from K now and I buy either 2 or 4, 24 packs at the rate of a week or two - then buy the same again for the next two weeks. Or more! 8-(
well that's enuogh except to say that thank goodness the Civic Ctr recycles H2o bottles with out the labels - crushed only. I have tons already but no way to get them over there. I have to crush them first then get someone to take them over there. Why is nothing easy right now?
It sounds like you are not in as bad a shape as me... I hope!
Candle lit for both of us. I have to say the start to 2023 has been crap! so far.
