We have had another one of those crazy weather weeks. I do not why the weather reporters even try to tell us what normal is. We had a rather good start to the week. Monday, the temps dropped, and we had an ice/sleet/snow that lasted most of the evening and into the night. Nothing in our neighborhood moved for two days. The kids were out of school because all of the roads were covered in ice. This was not a pretty storm. We did not lose power, but we were stuck at home. The main roads were better on Wednesday, but our street and driveway still had a thick coating of ice. Evie even had to be careful in the yard as the ice was slick there also.
We had another frigid day on Friday, but no more precipitation. The weather, now, is supposed to be a bit above normal for the next few day. This Winter has gone from Spring to Fall to Winter and back again on several occasions.
We did get out on Thursday to get younger dgd from school, and the main roads were in great shape. Oklder dd and her dh were in Lexington to see a heart specialist. Dsil was born with a heart defect, and it is now time for surgery. The burger will be on I hope everyone has a great week.
