I'd send flannel blankets but not sure if they are allergic to flannel. In MN I learned to sleep on flannel and have a blanket that fake fur on top - not a thick blanket but with the two I was insulated. Also lined gloves of some kind.
I want her to reply to this post hopefully she will and give some clues as to what is ok what isn't.
DD is getting lots of rain and they live in a Gateway county. No more hail and it seems that the clients and their caseworkers are still going to work. It's cold but DD has warm clothes and good shoes. I still am worried about her all the time.
Boy & DDIL drove to Houston yesterday 5 hs+ 1 way. It's an all day trip and with it raining traffic and accidents make it hours longer. They haul a huge trailer loaded with boxes pounds weighing 100s of pounds. That scares me also as there are too many accidents with tracker trailers that they see every trip coming and going. Plus accidents.
ANyway, if you can think of any suggestions for what I could send up there let me know. I hope she reads the post I need to know if they are allergic to anything.
I have a cousin in New Jersey and sent him a "How are you" email. No reply.... I suspect they are snowed in. Which is not unusual in Jersey.
Well, fingers crossed for all of us. Here we have had Red Flag days (Fire danger warnings) off and on since as we have had no rain to speak of. Just mist and gray clouds most of the day and every night. I haven't seen a single star and barely the moon for months. Plus missed all the celestial events for the last year. 8-( Plus
I live one house down from the top of our hill. My usual view is amazing. Not sure if this is going to stick around or not.
March is coming in at 80 degrees every afternoon. That's scarey for March usually gives us snow and or temps in the 20s or 30s. Everyone is concerned now.
How you have a reprieve from the rain. Good luck weather wise.
