It needed salt, when I tasted it, so I added some and retasted it. It was really good.
But then, I bit down on something hard. For 1/2 second, I thought that I'd broken a tooth, but then I knew that I hadn't. In my mouth were 2 pieces of glass. One not small, and one no bigger than a grain of salt. Had I gotten any down on the last bite, or this one?
I don't know. We called the ER to see what they had to say, but the Dr. there said that they'd never encountered this. My first inclination was to put something bulky in with it, the way that I've given dogs white bread when they've eaten something less than good, but I didn't want them bringing it back up. So, I ate some white rice.
The Dr. said to go to bed to smooth the digestive tract, and call/come in if there was any pain or blood anywhere.
I don't feel great today, but I tried some tortilla chips the past 2 days to see if I can eat them. So, that's probably why I don't feel great, but who knows?
I'd appreciate any prayers for no glass to have actually been ingested, or if it was to go through harmlessly. Sheesh. Today, I'm going to dump the herbs and such onto a piece of paper and go through them. And, if was in the chicken, I won't know that. We called Ds, who has the same chicken, to warn him.
I wanted everyone to know why I can't get online. To be online, I need 2 things:
1 - Electricity on.
2 - My satellite dish to be working.
The past couple of weeks with snow, the 2nd isn't working. I get a 'Complete Signal Loss' message. So, when snow gets on the dish, which is too high for anyone to reach, I can't watch television or get online.
It stopped snowing, and is freezing cold. It was in the 20's before midnight last night. But, the snow has been melting, which is why I can post.
It should remain cold and clear through Friday day, then they call for rain/snow starting on Friday night, and every day through next Wednesday. I can't see past that. But, they are calling for 20's at night each day, so we will be miserably cold for a while yet. That means on Thyri's birthday, so hopefully that will be at home. I don't believe that we've ever had this many days of snow in a season since we've been here. I've had snow on my birthday once in the past 34 years, and it looks like that will be the case this year.
Remember their power being back on? It went off again, and still is. A lot of people are out of power.
Well, that's about all for now. If all remains working while the weather is just clear and cold, I'll do my best to catch up. First, though, I need to do banking, and other business.
Have a great, and hopefully warmer, day.
