THe last two years have been hard as I rarely slept much. The neck pain was a killer. Now that I have the patches of both 4% and 5% linocane I use 5% at night and maybe a third of one. That extends the length of time I have relief.
But I have always fed the birds, squirrels and cats when I am up... usually no later then 5am. Charlie and I both do the critter feeding outside.
Once I am done spreading the seeds and pnuts Charlie now goes inside. He climbs the back stairs or goes in the front door depending on his whim of the day. With his bad hip? Paw? he is slower but at least no longer gimps. Though he is definately calmer and behaves better by following my instructions. Next Charlie gets his treats in his kong with a spoonful of peanut butter. That is when I walk down to the mailboxes and walk back up. No deer lately. But lots of birds. The Vulturers often sit on my power pole or the ones along the street. Haven't seen the Hawks lately. But Bluejays, Carolina Wrens, and all sorts of other birds are all over my yard once I tossed the seeds out. They ignore me and I ignore them. Wonderful time to have a cup of coffee when I get gack to the house and it is nice out.
Then I have breakfast and address the house and all the cleaning I haven't done for the last two years. My neck pain was a killer. Thank goodness for Lidocaine.
Well it's 6am time to get dressed and start my critter chores first.
Have a good day. Wish you had warmer weather.
It is often in the 40s in the am then can climb to 80s/70s or lower if its still cloudy. I love sitting on the porch. Listening to Jazz, or such.
