Answer: The world’s most common password has been revealed, and it’s not too difficult to guess. According to new data from password manager company NordPass, which creates a list of the most common passwords each year, the world’s most common password is "password." Other surveys have found similar results in terms of password popularity, which has changed little over the past decade. Other popular passwords on the 2022 list included "qwerty" and "123456." If you're among the millions of accounts using any of these passwords, experts advise that you change them immediately.

A pivotal scene in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial called for 9-year-old Elliott to lure E.T. out of the woods. Steven Spielberg's people approached Mars Inc. with an offer to use M&M's in the scene. John & Forrest Mars, however, flatly rejected Spielberg's offer. Looking for an alternative, Spielberg turned to its competitor, Hershey Foods, for its Reese's Pieces, a relatively new addition to the Hershey product line. After a deal was struck and the film was released, Hershey received prominent product placement in the year's highest-grossing film. Consequently, Reese’s Pieces' popularity soared, leading to a 65% spike in sales.
