Ok this weird bill was in mail this am. It was for almost $200. For my recent follow-up visit which was blood tests, etc. Usually Ins pays. Not this time.
So I called Humana and talked with a rep who handles these particular problems. She was relly nice and we were on the phone for almost 45 minutes as she had me on hold 3 times at least. The final time she had to talk with My Dr.... as it turns out an error of the wrong code was on the paperwork.
Whew what a relief. It may take a month to have the bill reprocessed back through Humana but also to remove the bill with the incorrect charge number.
So this form I received I had to re-read it before getting to where I could ID the problem. I finally got there and the H Rep I had went right to work on it. Whew again. Even so I may end up receiving a second incorrect bill. That's no surprise.
Still the problem was one of Dr K's office personnel.
Ok off to have lunch - 3 pork egg rolls. Yum! 8-)
