My folks lived a block off Sepulveda and Manchester blvds. Westchester was atop the platau along with LAX. El Camino was up the hill from LAX. I used Ocean Drive to get to work from Hermosa, where we lived then took PCH 1 to work next to the Cemetary in Fox Hills. up the road from the Hosp wher both the kids were born. Ahhh. fond memories of growing up along the coast.
Well I am hoping the hummers return. I made new necter so I will keep my eye out. But I really thing they are enjoying ALL the various wildflowers. The colors are pale pink, violet, whilte lots of yellows, and the list goes on. I hope to get some photos today of each. I haven't seen my Morning glowy vine starters. I may have to buy some new seeds though it is early for them yet. But with the weather already summer like, who knows.
Yes it is early for the hummers by a week or two. And they come from Mexico across the gulf. I will check out the wildflowers to see if I find any of them out back. I forgot to buy Avocados. I like having A toast followed by a few strawberries. Oh well.
I will keep my eye out for the black cat and my water spritzer to chase it off. I don't need Charlie going through the front window. All my windows are low to the a couple feet above the floor in all my rooms. Not a good thing when Charlie goes ape!
Have a good day Plum. May you have good weather.
I know hoping for sun may put us back in a drought, but maybe not.
Both of us need a weather break!
