I have 3 months of trash in containers. After calling every company for SA I was told there is no pickup for my area. So Boy will be over to take all my trash this comoing weekend I hope.
Thankfully I had enough containers to keep the area behind the fence neat & tidy. I also found out the kids sold their van. So they are using the truck for everything. Thankgoodness their van broke down after DDIL's patient passed. She is not working now except for some child care.
Boy will be over in the next day or two and will load all trash on to the flat bed. The only Dump he can take it to is quite a distnce from here.
He also needs to sign some bank paperwork for me.
I called the Vet today and luckily Charlies last Bravecto RX will be shipped in April... his Heartguard is good through May with his rabies shot due end of April the timing for all his stuff works out perfectly. He is doing pretty good but will still ocassionally hesitate before jumping on to my bed.
Well, the grasses & reeds are already two feet tall in just about a week or so. One of the giat oaks is dressed in bright gree leaves.
The sun is out but everything is so wet it wmy on't dry in an hour or more.
But I just plucked a small twig off my Live Oak Tree that is next to the red wooden fence by the drive way. It has Male Tassels hanging in tiny clusters from under the a leaf or two on every branch joint - no matter how small the twig is. The female grows on the husk of a nut.
I have named all my trees. My biggest are the oaks except for the China Berry tree. That is taller then the Live Oaks which 4 of them are over 150 ft tall. I have 9 various Oaks: Texas Red Oak, Lacey Oak, Blackjack Oak, , 12 Cedar trees, a number of miscellaneous younger and shorter types. I have 2 Texas Redbuds, 2 Texas Mountain Laurel - seeds are poisoinous to animals - plus 2 Texas Ash, 2 Juniper and 2 Ashe berry.
The big ones slow down the growth of the smaller trees. But there are 8 really tall trees.
I love my back area. Since the rain is alonst every day or so that means grasses & weeds, etc. Usually when there is a drought the rain may come in a pattern of mist or hard rains or a combo of both. We've had the both. Charlie and I have wet shoes or feet when ever we walk inside. SIGH!
Well that's it for now. More rain du tonight and a few storms over the weekend. It depends on where the front goes if we get any or not.
Have a good weekend. I hope you are getting the weather you not only need but want.
