I'm hoping that she does, too. She really loved her last pre-school, and still asks for her friends, like Dakota, who was a little girl a few months older than Thyri. They did everything together.
The funny thing, is that the husband at the new place is the man who was recently at Ds's house fixing his box for phone/internet etc. At the time, he didn't know him. Now, it turns out that his wife runs this pre-school.
Yikes! I hope that your wind chime pieces survived.
He was supposed to meet with Ds today, but he got together with some of his VA friends. I took a leap of faith, and had Ds buy a collar today at the hardware store...pretty much the only place to get one on a Sunday...assuming that they would need it in the morning.
The two things about it were that A - I could have gotten it for much less if I'd known before I made my Chewy order, and B - The colors were very limited, so she will be sporting a hot pink collar, lol! I preferred it to the other choice, though, because it's bright, and may even be reflective, and if she gets loose, especially at this time of year, I want cars to be able to see her.
Besides which, I like the dogs to have bright collars so that hunters can see them, and not mistake them for game. I used to have fall collars for my dogs for that reason, but I also had a bright red dress shirt for Ds when he was small. It was too large for him, but I rolled it up where needed. The choice was: wear red, or don't play in the meadow. Since I have seen hunters on the property now and then, I didn't think that it was an unreasonable precaution.
So, hot pink it is.
We're all just about to the point of wanting to drug her to get her here, but we'll try this, probably tomorrow. Even if things do not work out with her, she needs to get to somewhere safe. So, this might be her new home, or it might be an intermediate home, but either way I've just got the worst feeling that she needs to get here sooner than later, the past day and a half.
Have a wonderful week!
