Sometimes, whether meant for depression or the heart, etc., it can be a side effect.
My dad lost a friend, another doctor, when he started a new heart pill, and committed suicide. He had no history of anything of the sort. They eventually ruled that the heart pill was the culprit, and that incident, on top of other similar cases - many cases, is what caused them to put warning labels on the medication. Also, the Dr. and pharmacist must tell you about that side effect, and they keep check on how you are doing with it.
I'm not suggesting any such thing with Kara's medication, just that some can cause people to have changes in personality, depression, etc. It's always worth checking, I think...
Mind you, it could be nothing much, just dealing with daily life. I hope so.
