My Yucca has a stalk that is 4 to 5 feet tall with a bloom that is another 2 to 3 feet in height but with small blossoms all along the bloom stalk. In total is it about 5 to 6 feet in height NOT counting the Yucca but just the stalk and the bloom. I will take a photo and send it to you. I have two and the one closest to the gate blooms first but only every few years... the Yucca next to it blooms at the same time but maybe a few weeks later, if at all. Then they are dormant for 2 to 3 years. I only have the two Yucca plants. They didn't bloom for a long time as I think they were too young.
I love surprises. This year the yard has new wildflowers blooming that I have never seen before. The rain flower seeds have opened up and I think soon I will have more then 100 rain flowers. With 100 original flowers this spring and each of them opening with lots of seeds spreading all over I really don't want to trim the areas in case new rain flowers bloom.
I found a book about this area that showed the lake when the it was first built. That's back in the 1700's and a bit later.
The photos are amazing. The people are real pioneers. I need to buy that book when I go back to the Pharmacy. Though I was able to see photos of where my house would have been then. I love history books of where I lived. I have one of Beaukiss where BOR is. It was a huge town with a railroad station and stores and the church is still there as is the Elk Club.
I will post if my second Yucca also blooms this year. 8-)
