Unfortunately I was holding on to him when a stray
walked down the road. I had both leashes on him - 1 on halter, one on that horse type collar. I ended up on my ass and was trashed abit.
Luckily no major damage. for I ended up withmy back against the chainlink fence near the gate.
But I was very sore. I always was also very mad.
With being on pain killers he has no incentive to be calm. I told inno uncertain terms that he was wrong to drag me... but I knew it wasn't getting
through.
I let him calm down inside while I had breakfast and he had a rest period and a snack. The stray appearedout of no where... and I can't do anything about strays.
I then took him back out after walking by myself around the yard and making sure no dogs. I am trying to keep him away from the street.
This past weekend W&J had one of theri sons dogs... a large female fixed and very passive.
We both learned last year that we had to let each other know when we were taking our dogs out.
Luckily their dog is not there during the week for they are still at the schools cooking.
But soon they will be on vacation and that means their dog will be at that their house alot. Also they are talking about getting maybe 2 dogs. One is big dog the other a small dog.
Luckily Boy is comingover weds afternoon bringing two 16ft by 8ft bamboo fences to fence off their yard.
I hope Boy will buy two more of the same panels at Home depot after my next payday. I think that will close off their yard from Charlie.
I still have his run up so May try him out on it to see how he does. If he sees dogs I know he will react badly. Hopefully one of the panels will go along the street so he can't see strays... and the other will hopefully finish blocking off W&Js back yard.
Those dang pain pills make him immune to pain. A little bit groggy but not much.
I'm exhausted !!!!
