Answer: You might remember from a high school English class that Starbuck was the first mate in Herman Melville’s novel “Moby-Dick.” Gordon Bowke, who co-founded Starbucks in 1971, wanted to name the company Peqoud, after Captain Ahab’s doomed whaleship in the Moby-Dick. Fortunately, one of his business partners rejected the name, so they decided to name the fledgling coffee chain after Starbuck, the first mate of the Pequod. Starbucks is the largest coffeehouse chain in the world, with over 34,000 stores in 80 countries around the globe.

Stonehenge is a prehistoric massive stone monument located about two miles west of Amesbury, Wiltshire in Southern England. The biggest of Stonehenge’s stones, known as sarsens, are up to 30 feet tall and weigh 25 tons on average. Archaeologists believe it was constructed from 3000 BC to 2000 BC.
