I have to admit, the Italian ices sound very good!!
Have you ever thought of getting an actual Sno-cone maker? It would be kind of cool to make them that consistency. And, you could add flavoring, if you wanted to, or not. Or, is that what you've got?
Big time on the Chinese food. Back 'in the day' there were fewer options, I think, and Chinese food is one of my favorites. Now, you can get all kinds of food everywhere. I don't even recognize the restaurants in L.A. half of the time anymore.
I've eaten Thai food a couple of times, and was not that thrilled with some of the dishes, except for beef and broccoli. It differs from Chinese beef and broccoli in that the sauce has less viscosity because of the Chinese version putting a little corn starch in it, and also it's more spicy. Not as spicy as some Thai food - at least where I ate it, but still with some spice. These days, we just don't eat spicy foods at all anymore, though we never did like really hot foods.
Mostly, I've had more common ethnic foods, like Chinese, Italian, Japanese, and Mexican foods.
