Thanks! I won't know if it worked for a few days.
I wonder why, re: license? Ds won't get his license by Monday, so they gave him a temp. paper until it gets here.
However, I'm supposed to pay a fee on the dump trailer for trash, and also want to non-op my truck. (The one with the tow package, and the cage on the back.) The truck needs work, so this keeps it in good standing in the meantime. (You can bring it out of non-op status for one day, if you need to drive it for any reason.) It would be $243. to get it's registration, or $25. to non-op it until it's been seen by Les Schwab, which I can't do right now.
So, Ds went to the DMV website, and they said that we couldn't register the dump trailer on line, that he'd have to go in, in person.
Then, he went to non-op the truck, and they said the same thing.
He said that he's going to turn it over to the DMV's virtual office. He says that it's one really nice thing that came out of covid times. So, if there are things that you can't do online, when you should be able to, you might check to see if there's a virtual office - I'm pretty sure that's the name that he said - for your DMV area. It could be state or nationwide, I don't know.
That means that there are 3 things between us that the website wouldn't let us do! Sheesh!
That will be so nice; walking the girls! Mornings will be perfect to avoid the heat/coming heat. Hmmm, washing hair, eh? Is that true, or a bit of fimblefamble?
Puff pastry from the store is so handy! Do you put butter or oil between each sheet?
Peach cobbler is delicious! The 2 cobblers that I've made the most are peach and blackberry.
I've probably already shared the recipe, but I used to always make a peach-upside-down cake. It was one of our favorites!
What a great idea to make pies for Josh!
I hope that the blackberry dessert comes out perfectly!
Have a great weekend and coming week!
