I was reading about the heat records being broken last week, several days in a row. Whew. Hot, hot, hot.
Stay cool! Maybe make or buy popsicles. You can get your favorite drinks, maybe ones that you think are better to have than others, and freeze them in popsicle molds or paper cups with sticks in them.
I like to cook fresh fruit like blueberries, cool it, mold it, freeze it, then have a cold treat when I want them.
But, you can take anything from tea and coffee, to lemonade, and freeze it. You can make Koolaid, but I think that it's less sugar to make tea, lemonade, cranberry juice etc. into them. Plus, there's no nutritional value that I know of in Koolaid. At least tea has antioxidents, lemons have various health benefits including vitamin C, etc.
