Fionna has a chronic cough/sneeze. Last week, her eyes were watery and gunky at the same time. A friend took her to the vet. He said that the chronic sneezing had weakened the lining of her tear ducts/sinuses/etc and she probably had an infection. He sent her home w/ a week of antibiotics. W/ myself not feeling well, we missed a day here and there, so she still has 2 doses. She seems a bit better, but I plan to call Monday and see if he wants to extend the antibiotic or try another.
Thursday, Apollo woke up sneezing, had watery eyes and looked just plain miserable. He seems to not be as miserable today, but he is still sneezing and his eyes are watery.
So far, Aurora seems fine.
All 3 have been getting a daily dose of 500 mg of lysine and a couple of drops of Vit E for the last week. I'm not sure what else I can do. I don't think this is an ER vet need. If Apollo is still not up to par on Monday, I will definitely be getting him an appointment (probably not until Tuesday, based on my friend's usual schedule).
Fortunately, it doesn't seem to be affecting Misty or myself.
Love All Life, Thank You For Posting! :)
