These silicone lids are great! They work for the tall, skinny cans as well as the shorter fatter cans:
I put them in the dishwasher when I need to clean them.
For the fat cans of canned pumpkin, I found the lids from the nuts and candies the GS sell in the fall are perfect. I can line up a few, if anyone needs them.
Food storage - I had the bins that hold up to 40-50 lbs and stack on top of each other. Only problem was, they aren't airtight and ants got in the food more than once. I found these on Chewy....
I have pink for the cats & everglade green for the dogs. They hold the size bags of food I get for each. The smaller containers hold a lot. I have the canned cat food in the pink container and the green one has both dog & cat treats.
So I don't have to get out of my chair to prepare meals, I found Rubbermaid containers years ago, that are smaller and have handles. They hold a small bag of kibble. I fill from the larger container as needed. I use to be able to keep them on the floor, but a certain blue merle boy showed me how easy they are to chew up the latch... So they sit on my counters and get moved as needed.
