The last couple of days I have had to opt out on the walking so much as my BP med works really well at keeping my numbers down.
It is important that Charlie go out to do his business in the morning, thus I am taking my cup of coffee and going out back letting him take one of his balls.
I end up tossing it in the air or close by. I don't need his blood up until after I do all the chores and we walk our laps.
He has been giving me those blank looks that say - "WHAT?" LOL.
So we are both learning how to understand how to communicate that this is bathroom time. I know he needs to run and jump a bit to get his system revved up for the day.
This makes day 3 and I learned that I need to do a bit of walking in the yard. It seems once I walk to the compost pile and back his morning needs kick in. So this morning it only took a half cup of coffee for us to get back in the house.
It is a lovely drippy, misty, gray morning. Fog over the lake is visible from my back porch. It was still dark as it was before sunrise. The school bus came to it's creaky screechy stop out front for the neighbors son.
There were a few insects adding their chirps and tiny sounds to the morning air. All was broken by Charlies LOUD barks saying enough of this - I'm not sure what you want but I want to go in.
So we came in and after his two small bones he promptly fell asleep again on my bed. He knows when I am on my laptop there is no budging me and resigns himself to dreams of chasing deer.
Now I need to feed the rest of my assorted pack of cats, parrot and the wild birds and squirrels. Dgs is home and has started packing his belongings for Boy to pick up Saturday. His birds will stay in here for me to care for until a suitable living arrangement is agreed up by DDIL and Boy. No birds in the house is her rule.
Have a great day. I am busy making room for boxes of stuff in the hallway and the living room. lol.
Love All Life, Thank You For Posting! :)
