Yes, we all do. Luckily, he has been working in the lab here for 2 days, part of the day.
It's raining quite hard, and while Ds doesn't do soil sample testing anymore, because his boss hired someone else to do it, in order to leave Ds free to make maps, and work on site doing surveys and such, the guy who does them is unavailable for some reason.
With the bad weather keeping Ds from doing field work, the boss decided that Ds could do the samples until it clears up. (Tomorrow.) That has made Tango very happy. It won't change the long term changes, but it did perk him up.
Yes, I love that watering system for chickens. It can be quite messy, and labor intensive, otherwise, and I like knowing that they always have clean water.
It's definitely a lot of eggs, and more than we can use, even though I sent some home with Ds Tuesday night.
I will contact the people who enjoy them through the summer, and see if they want some this year. I usually make some 'egg money' through the summer, which I buy their food with.
We do increase our egg use according to the season though. I make angel food cakes at this time of year, which take 15 whites by my recipe, Ds usually eats eggs more mornings a week, etc.
Then, I start making my old homemade cat food, with what's still left, and give it between their regular cat food. It can be frozen. It also makes good dog treat a couple of times a week.
I hope so, too. I would like it if the Siamese became a pet, and didn't just try to survive on his own.
Love All Life, Thank You For Posting! :)
