I can't believe that his behavior was always as it is now, or he wouldn't have been with the man/people for 5 years. This may be the reason that he wanted to find a home for him; that he never adapted to car life.
As it turned out, he never got the cbd oil. As soon as Ds went to bed, he hopped up, settled at his feet, and slept the night.
But, he started whining again this morning when Ds was making breakfast.
When Ds got home, he did eat some dog food (he's not been eating, and a before and after photo shows that he's lost weight...I'll send them to you.) but, Ds called me, and I could hear him howling and whining.
Ds put him on his lap, when he put a paw on him, but he was whining even then.
I'm hoping that all will settle soon, because he's a great little guy. But, I know that inexperienced people who have to sleep and work might become a bit frazzled during the transition period.
Thank you! I was glad to see them taking a 5 year old over the puppies and younger dogs.
Love All Life, Thank You For Posting! :)
